Refund Policy
For full policy on returns and exchanges see below. If there is a problem with your order, please email us at blueoceans.sanddollar@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the item. For faster response time, message us on Etsy at https://www.etsy.com/shop/blueoceanssanddollar and click contact on the right side of the page below the icon/name (Lisa K), and a message box will appear. We try to respond as quickly as we can, but we have learned there can be delays with email when being sent to non-Gmail users and overseas.
Always make sure to include the order number, the item name as listed on the invoice, the reason for return or exchange, and if exchanging, the name of the item or option you wish to have (i.e., thank you notecards were purchased and happy birthday notecards are what was wanted or winter themed gift tags with defaulted ribbon colors were purchased but the buyer wanted all green – for winter themed gift tags, make sure to email after ordering with the order number and color ribbon you want if different from defaulted colors as noted in the listing to prevent needing to exchange). If there is any defect with the product, please include images so we can correct the issue moving forward. Defects do not include how the packaging was handled by the courier.
Return Policy
If you’re looking to return your order for whatever reason, we at Blue Oceans Sand Dollar are here to help. We offer free online returns within 30 days of purchase. Returned items are eligible for a partial refund (purchase price minus shipping fee); after 30 days there will be no refund. Item must be received undamaged, in unused condition, and in their original packaging. Lost or stolen packages will be verified with the courier before refunding to the original payment method. Please allow time for the courier to respond with the results – do not send an email within 48 hours of our notice to you regarding our submission for investigation with the courier. We will update you when we have the information we need from the courier.
To make a return, use the provided return label to ship the item you wish to return to us. Once we receive your item, we will process your return within 7 business days. The refund will be sent to your original method of payment.
Reasonable exchanges can be made within 7 days of the item being delivered to you. Please email us FIRST at blueoceans.sanddollar@gmail.com for approval with your order number, the item you wish to exchange, the reason for the exchange, and the new item you would like to have. You will be asked to send the item you received back to us first, and the new item will be sent to you once we have received your returned item (regardless of the item being damaged or in perfect condition).
Exceptions
Please note the following exceptions:
Digital and discounted items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.
“Discounted” refers to items we have placed for sale not items where a promo code was used by the buyer.
No refund will be given for exchanged items.
